Dehydrated from running?

How much water are we supposed to be drinking? I am a newbie training for my first half marathon. I had taken a couple of days off from running and ran 2 miles today inside on a treadmill and did some strength training to ease back into it all. Afterwards I was very light-headed and nauseated. Could this be from dehydration?
